From legislation and the Essential Learning to the construction of a concrete, applicable and monitorisable class plan.

An online training course for teachers who want to understand what is changing, organise Education for Citizenship and turn the curriculum guidelines into concrete practices for their class.

Description

Citizenship Education has changed. What now?

Between legislation, new requirements, mandatory dimensions, Essential Learning and the need to coordinate between subjects, it can be difficult to understand how to move from documents to practice.

This training was designed to help teachers to:

  • understand the current framework;
  • understand what is expected at each stage;
  • organise the different dimensions of Citizenship and Development;
  • link citizenship with other subject areas;
  • build a class plan;
  • define initiatives and partners;
  • and create ways to monitor and assess the impact of the work carried out.

More than knowing the documents, it is important to know what to do with them.
